Move an idea along the board

Drag an idea to the lane for its next stage.

The project board shows ideas in lanes, one for each stage of your process. Moving an idea to the next lane shows everyone how far it has got.

  1. Open Project Board from the challenge’s side menu. Each card is an idea; drafts are hidden unless you change the filters.

  2. Drag the idea’s card onto the lane you want to move it to. The change saves straight away.

You can also move an idea from its management panel: open it and choose a lane under In lane. If a lane sends announcements to ideas that arrive in it, SimplyDo asks you to confirm before they go out. To set up the lanes, see Set up the project board.

To sift ideas once a challenge closes, go through the default lane and move each idea on to the next stage, or to a lane for ideas that aren’t progressing.
