See how people are engaging with your challenge.
The Activity page shows how your challenge is doing: how many people visit it, and how many ideas, comments and likes it gets. Check it regularly to see whether your engagement plan is working.
Open Activity from the challenge’s side menu. The figures at the top count the challenge’s ideas, comments, likes and followers. Below them are the latest likes, comments and ideas.
Scroll down to the Engagement funnel. It shows how many people could take part, how many looked at the challenge, and how many ideas were started and submitted.
Below the funnel, Challenge views, Idea activity and Voting activity show the last seven days, day by day and as a running total.
How to read the engagement funnel:
- Audience size is everyone who can see the challenge.
- Unique views is how many people have opened it.
- Ideas started and Ideas submitted count ideas, not people, so one person can add several.
Expect fewer people at each stage. A big drop between two stages tells you where to focus: few views suggest more promotion, while many started but few submitted ideas suggest a reminder before the deadline.
Total views are usually higher than unique visitors, because people come back to a challenge more than once.
