Configure idea visibility
Decide who in the audience can see the ideas people submit.
Idea visibility decides who in the audience can see the ideas submitted to a challenge.
- Off (the default): only the challenge’s administrators see ideas. People can submit freely without seeing each other’s suggestions.
- Pinned ideas: the audience only sees ideas you pin, which is a good way to showcase a shortlist.
- All ideas: everyone in the audience can browse every idea, and like or comment on them if those features are on.
In your challenge’s settings, open Ideas from the side menu.
Under Idea visibility, turn on Allow any user in the challenge audience to view ideas in this challenge.
Show users pinned ideas is ticked for you, so the audience only sees ideas you pin. Changes save automatically.
Pin ideas from the challenge’s idea list to add them to what the audience sees.
In your challenge’s settings, open Ideas from the side menu.
Under Idea visibility, turn on Allow any user in the challenge audience to view ideas in this challenge.
Tick Show users all ideas. Everyone in the audience can now browse every idea. Changes save automatically.
