Anonymise idea owners

Hide who submitted each idea from everyone but the challenge's managers.

By default, anyone who can see an idea can also see who created it. Anonymising idea owners hides their names from everyone except the people who manage the challenge, which can encourage more candid ideas.

In most cases we recommend leaving idea owners visible. Anonymising permanently encrypts who created each idea, even if you turn the setting off later, and it limits features that rely on knowing the owner, such as collaboration.

  1. On the Ideas page of your challenge’s settings, go to Idea anonymity and select Anonymise idea owner details to non-admins. Changes save automatically.
