Ask for estimates before submission

By default, people submitting ideas don’t estimate their impact: the project team does later. Ask for a user estimate to collect a first estimate with every idea.

   Turn on Show impact statements on the idea page before submission. People can now fill in the impact statement on their idea.

   To make the estimate part of submitting, turn on Require impact statements for all ideas. To also make people explain their estimate, turn on Require justification.

   Under Assessor visibility, tick the stages assessors may see when they assess an idea, here User estimate. Otherwise, assessors who don’t manage the challenge can’t see impact statements.
