Add scored questions and weightings

Decide what assessors score, and how much each question counts.

Assessors answer the questions in a round’s assessment sections. Scored questions give each idea a score; their weights decide how much each one counts towards the round’s total.

  1. In the challenge’s idea format, open the round’s tab.

  2. Click Add assessment section below the round’s settings.

  3. In the new section, click Add new field and choose Scored question.

  4. Write the question assessors should answer.

  5. Set the maximum score, and the question’s weight: how much it counts towards the round’s total, in per cent.

  6. Click Save format.

Add more scored questions the same way. The weights of a round’s scored questions should add up to 100%; if they don’t, SimplyDo asks you to share the weight out when you save. Assessment sections can also hold other fields, such as a dropdown or an Assessment feedback box where assessors explain their scores.
