Add an assessment round

Switch on assessment by adding a round to the idea format.

Assessment happens in rounds. Each round has its own questions, assessors and, if you like, a deadline. Start with one round, such as a first sift; add more later for later stages.

  1. Click Edit format at the top of the challenge.

  2. Click Add assessment, next to the Format tab.

  3. Name the round and click Confirm. The round opens in its own tab and is saved straight away.

To close the round automatically, turn on There is a deadline for this assessment and pick a date; assessors can’t start or submit assessments after it. If a challenge has more than one round, SimplyDo asks how much each round counts towards an idea’s overall score.
