Choose an audience
Decide who can see and take part in a challenge.
A challenge’s audience is everyone who can see it and submit ideas to it. People outside the audience won’t find the challenge at all.
- Organisation opens the challenge to every member of your organisation. It’s the quickest choice and suits most challenges.
- Custom audience limits it to the organisations and groups you pick, such as a department, a project team or a partner organisation.
People who created or collaborate on an idea can always see the challenge, even if you change the audience later.
In your challenge’s settings, open Audience from the side menu.
Select Organisation. Member reach updates to show how many people can now see the challenge. Changes save automatically.
Use a custom audience when a challenge is only relevant to some people, for example a single department, or for a later round that only people who passed an earlier one can enter. You can combine several groups and organisations; anyone in at least one of them is part of the audience.
In your challenge’s settings, open Audience from the side menu.
Select Custom audience. Lists of the organisations and groups you can choose from appear below.
Tick each group that should take part, here Sustainability Champions. Changes save automatically and Member reach updates to match.
Groups have to exist before you can pick them. Your organisation’s administrators can create them under Groups.
