Design an idea formatStep 1 of 7
Choose a starting point
Start your idea format from a ready-made format, from scratch, from another challenge or with AI.
The idea format is the form people fill in when they submit an idea. A new challenge asks you to pick a starting point on its Idea format page. Whichever you choose, you can change every section and question afterwards.
The “3 Is” is a short format for collecting ideas quickly. People describe their idea, rate how important it is, how easy it would be to implement and how much impact it could have, and can add an image.
Under The “3 Is”, click Use this format. The format is saved, and its questions open in the editor.
Start with a single empty section and build up your own questions.
Under Start from scratch, click Use this format. You get one empty section, ready for your first question.
Re-use the format of a challenge you manage, then adjust it. Changes you make here don’t affect the other challenge.
Open Re-use a format from one of your existing challenges. The challenges you manage are listed.
Under the challenge you want, here Smarter Office Energy, click Use this format. Its sections and questions are copied into your challenge.
Describe the format you want, or upload a document that lists your questions, and SimplyDo’s AI builds the format for you. It works in the background and lets you know when it’s done.
Under Automatically Generated, click Get started.
Describe the questions you want to ask, or switch to or upload a file to use a document instead, and click Generate. SimplyDo builds the format in the background. When it’s ready, a notification tells you: click it to open your new format.
AI can get things wrong. Check every question before you open the challenge: its wording, whether it’s required, and who can see the answers.
