Delete your account

Deleting your account is immediate and can’t be undone. Before you start, it helps to know what happens to what you’ve posted:

• Challenges you’ve posted stay where they are.
• Ideas you’re in a team for move to another member of that team.
• All your other ideas are deleted.

Your organisation may have turned off self-deletion. If you can’t find Delete your account in your settings, ask your organisation’s administrators to delete your account for you.

   On the Account page of your settings, scroll down to Delete your account and type DELETE into the box.

   Click Delete account. A message explains what happens to your content.

   Click Confirm. Your account is deleted, you’re signed out and the sign-in page opens.

Mobile app

1. Tap your profile picture in the top left corner to open the menu.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Delete account at the bottom of the list.
4. Type DELETE and tap Confirm.
5. Tap Confirm again. Your account is deleted and you’re taken back to the sign-in screen.

If your organisation has turned off self-deletion, the app shows Account deletion failed. Ask your organisation’s administrators to delete your account instead.
