Rename challenges, ideas and groups

Use your organisation's own words for challenges, ideas and groups.

If “challenge”, “idea” or “group” doesn’t fit how your organisation works, you can use your own words instead, for example “project” instead of “challenge”. The new words are used everywhere in SimplyDo, including emails and notifications, for everyone in your organisation.

  1. In the admin area, open Settings from the side menu, then the Branding tab.

  2. Under Terminology, enter the word you’d like to use in Rename “Challenge” to:, for example Project.

  3. Click Translations & plurals below it to check the plural, here Projects, and the words used in other languages. Change them if they’re not right.

  4. Click Save at the bottom of Terminology. The new word is used straight away, for example in the navigation bar.

  5. To go back to the default word, clear the field and click Save again.

You can rename ideas and groups in the same way, with Rename “Idea” to: and Rename “Group” to:.
